About Charlize

I have always loved working with kids of all ages and getting to be someond that they can have fun with, learn from, and feel comfortable with. Over the past 6 years I have been able to help with kids of all ages from 2 weeks to 16 years old watching up to 5 siblings at a time and working as a preschool teacher with about 16 three and 4-year-olds at a time. I have my CNA, teaching certification, lots of coursework in early childhood development, current CPR and First Aid certifications and lots of college developmental psychology courses as I work towards finishing my degree this spring. I would describe myself and my personality as energetic, creative, and pretty easygoing while still wanting structure. I love getting kids outside, playing sports, coming up with their own games, crafts, board games and more but screens are not my go to. I am also more than willing to help with household chores, light cooking and meal prep but I'm big on including the kids in those activities.
