I don't have any paid experience, but I have cared for all of my grandparents for various reasons over the years, including Alzheimers, Dementia, Post-Surgery Etc. I know finding someone to help is a delicate search and there are definitely people more qualified than me. However, making a difference in people's lives is what I'm passionate about. My experiences showed me the impact a caregiver can have, which is why I'm committed to providing reliable support to both seniors and their families. I respect the independence of those in my care. I'm skilled at adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion or agitation. I will follow the family's preferred method of communication. I can provide transportation, run errands, assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation, and offer support for dementia and medical management. I have a car and I'm comfortable with pets. I am CPR and First Aid trained.
