I love working with young people and older people alike. As an experienced public high school teacher, I bring a deep commitment to the well-being, dignity, and individual growth of every student I support. My own daughter, grown now, is severely dyslexic. Helping her face and navigate challenges successfully has been, although difficult at times, a rewarding journey. Those with Asperger's and autism have been intriguing to work with, in my experience. I prioritize the development of trust, mutual respect, and a strong sense of self-worth and focus on taking the time to understand each individual's unique strengths and needs. My approach is patience, consistency, and grounded in empathy. In working with families, I value open and thoughtful communication.
