About Charlene

With my personal experience, I have been my mother's companion for the last 10 years helping her with personal and home helper services. I have: provided companionship and conversation, monitored her diet, prepared her grocery list, assisted with clothing, washed her hair, monitored her safety in the bathroom, arranged doctor appointments, done laundry, done house cleaning, etc. My mother still lives in the home I grew up in for the last 65 years. Since I have moved from Pennsylvania to Delaware, my mother now has assistance every day from her next door neighbor, who is a retired nurse, and my brother and daughter who live close by. This gives me peace of mind. My goal is to secure a dynamic and challenging role where I can put both my organizational capabilities and my Certified Nursing Assistant and CPR skills to work. I meet all health requirements, including TB, and I have documents to verify my background checks. I look forward to helping other older adults live healthy and independent lives. I consider myself to be reliable and compassionate and would like the opportunity to assist others in the community with offering my services.
