About Charlene

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With a graduate degree in Developmental Psychology and I worked at Mobius Children's Museum and Science Center for 15 years. I specialize in Math, English, Science, Art, and study skills for elementary and middle school students. I believe in fostering a love for learning by connecting complex concepts to your child's personal interests. I assess individual learning styles through active observation and open communication, ensuring my methods align with how your student learns best. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or a community center, I prioritize building confidence through consistent positive reinforcement and critical thinking. I am dedicated to creating a collaborative environment where every success is celebrated. I look forward to partnering with your family to help your student thrive and discover the joy in mastering new skills.
