Do you need someone to sit with your loved one on Saturday or during the evenings? I am willing to be a companion to spend time with them, talk with them, walk with them, watch their favorite shows with them, etc. If you just need a break or you need ongoing companionship, give me a call. I took care of my mom for 8 months after she was diagnosed with dementia. I studied her likes and dislikes, then developed a plan including games, toys and activities to keep her engaged. I'm not a professional. I'm just someone who would treat your loved one the way I would want mine treated. If the companionship will be recurring, we can work out a fee that could be a flat fee rather than an hourly rate.
