About Charla

I'd describe my personality as responsible, caring and dependable. I like caring for homes because I enjoy physical activity and I think people who live in a clean and tidy environment are happier and healthier. I'm looking for a job that keeps me moving and gets me out of the house. I started housekeeping when I was a child and have kept my own home clean since I was married 30 years ago. In my spare time, I like to go for walks and hikes. I am retired and like to read and stay physically active. I retired in 2023 from a career in federal law enforcement in Maryland and moved to Pennsylvania in 2024. One thing you should know about me is that I like to listen to podcasts while I clean and do other chores. I'm friendly and genuinely interested in people in general. I'm also a good listener. My skills include vacuuming and moping, cleaning bathrooms and washing dishes. I do these things weekly in my own home.
