About Charissa

Positive, friendly, honest, dependable, hard-working, and reliable professional, with strong people and organization skills, seeking part-time work in tutoring. I have tutored friends and family, and I find that I really enjoy helping people of all ages achieve their goals, especially academically! I have a Associates in Arts Degree and a Bachelor's in Science (Business Supervision and Management), through which I have experience in English and grammar, history, science, nutrition and health/wellness, art, and foreign language (ASL/Spanish). I have strengths in helping with study skills, finding creative ways to help people better understand concepts and material, memorization, organization of notes, research, and consolidating concepts. I have a wide range of interests (including nature, art, music, writing, and so on) which I feel helps me connect and relate to other people, and I enjoy being able to pass on to others the things that I've learned!
