About Charissa

I'm a passionate childcare provider with over 1 year of experience at a Christian Montessori School caring for children ages 6 weeks to 3y. My love for working with children stems from my big family, and a desire to share the love of Jesus while making a positive impact! I want to support families in providing reliable care, encouragement, and bring joy while sparking independence with children. I believe in fostering children's growth and development through patience, understanding, a nurturing environment, and FUN! I raise my 2 boys following the Montessori philosophy and implement some Montessori learning in my home. My approach to communication is transparent, ensuring that parents are well-informed about their child's day. I provide verbal updates at pickup, maintain a written record of daily reports, and share pictures and videos through a convenient app. For activities, my boys and I love sports, anything outdoors, reading, baking, and board games.
