Hi families! My last position with an amazing family as ended and now I'm looking for full or part time and/or temporary care for the infant and toddler age group. I have an extensive background working with babies and toddlers in day care centers, nannying, and preschool teaching. I love spending time in the outdoors (playgrounds/parks, swimming pools, picnics, hiking, beaches, etc.) but also enjoy indoor time with reading, sensory play, music, etc.). I'm knowledgeable in the stages of early childhood development and milestones and can help with nap transitions, bottle feeding, introducing solids, potty training, and engaging in cognitive and motor skills. In addition, I can do housework, run errands, and prepare meals. I have a car and clean driving record and know SF and all its wonderful offerings. Joy was the best decision we’ve made for our 4 month old daughter. We were extremely lucky to have the opportunity to have Joy for a little over 2 weeks. We knew she was the perfect fit when our baby started smiling shortly after Joy entered our house. Joy was extremely intuitive with our daughter and her needs. She brought a fantastic creative focus to everything she did, while still having a very appreciated calm presence in the house. We learned a ton from watching Joy in action and she coached our daughter through some early milestones. Our daughter used to hate tummy time for anything over a few seconds, but was already able to get to about half an hour within the first day with Joy. Our daughter enjoyed going to the playground for the first time, going on the swings and discovering that her happy place was just laying under a tree watching leaves dance with the wind. Our family would love any opportunity to work with Joy again!
