Kids are my passion. I love finding fun ways to teach and discover with them. But I also love to help! There are a few ways that I know I can help you: Homework help, helping with reading/phonics creating a routine (bedtime, morning, homework routines, etc.), creating and organizing creative and/or academic spaces, time and schedules, teaching subjects like arts, physical education, and several more. I know it can be hard to find enough time in the day to balance parenting and a career. Raising a child to be compassionate and independent while maintaining routine, schedule, and even a proper bedtime is not easy. I am here to assist you with all of that. With over 15 years experience with kids, I have been a pre-k and lower Montessori school teacher, a nanny, a tutor, and an aunt! I have a BA in Liberal Studies and I always make sure to be up to date with my CPR certification.

Chanena assisted our family with HW as my two boys ages 5 and 7 transitioned from a small private school to a large public school after our relocation. This transition was filled with many ups and downs and Chanena provided consistent nurturing, encouragement and assistance for both the boys and myself.
