About Chanel

I've always enjoyed working with children, and my experience over the past 5. 5 years in after-school programs plus 2 years as a substitute and frequent babysitting for my niece has only confirmed that this is the right path for me. I love being able to support kids not just with supervision, but with their growth and learning. My academic background strengthens that even more. I earned four associate degrees from IVC (English, Math, Science, and Psychology), a bachelor's in Psychology from SDSU, and I'm currently working toward my master's in Speech-Language Pathology. That training gives me strong tutoring skills and a deeper understanding of child development, communication, and behavior. I'm looking for a role where I can combine my hands-on childcare experience with my education, whether that's helping with homework, supporting social-emotional growth, or simply being a dependable, positive presence in a child's life.
