The first was over 25 yrs ago, the grandmother of the children I was a nanny for, got sick quickly and needed care - I offered to care for her if they moved her in to the family house. The experience of aiding her through those last years of her life - has always stayed with me, as if felt like it was truly important to both her and the whole family.
