About Chandell

Hi! My name is Chandell, and I have several years of experience working with children, teens, and families in educational and recreational settings. From ages 13 to 22, I worked with kids in roles including camp counselor, chess tutor, STEAM specialist, teen and family events coordinator at the YMCA, and STEAM camp director. I also tutored elementary school students in high school, which helped me build patience, communication skills, and the ability to support children at different learning levels. I enjoy creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment where kids can learn, have fun, and feel supported. I'm comfortable helping with homework, activities, creative projects, routines, and general supervision. My goal is to be dependable, attentive, and communicative so parents feel confident and children feel cared for.
