About Chaenaya

Hi! I'm Chaenaya, a grad student pursuing my Master's in Secondary Education, with a Bachelor's in English. I have hands-on experience teaching and tutoring students of all ages, from elementary through high school. I worked as an au pair in Spain, teaching English to a young child through daily routines, games, and reading, real full-time childcare and teaching experience combined. I've also been a Writing Center Tutor and Peer Mentor , a substitute teacher across Albany-area districts, and a literacy instructor helping kids build reading fluency and comprehension. I specialize in reading, writing, grammar, and homework help, and I love helping kids grow more confident learners. I'm patient, reliable, and great at adapting to each child's needs.
