There's so much joy in seeing a child accomplish a milestone or when you can see the exact moment that figurative lightbulb shines in their eyes from problem solving. I could go on, but this is my "why". I've been working both voluntarily and professionally in childcare since 2012. Along with being a mother of four, I understand the different aspects of caregiving: the happiness, the hard times, the apprehension, the silly moments, and wondering if we're doing enough. I get it. And I want to help. I work with kids of various ages, ranging from newborn to 17. I also am used to working with various abilities and needs.
