I have worked for two years as a shadow for a child with special needs at an after-school program. I help the child with socialization, mobility, and bathroom time. I also worked as an inclusion counselor at a summer camp for two summers. Where I was paired with a child who had special needs and helped them to gain a normal camp experience. I love working with children who have special needs because it so enriching and is my passion. I hope to become a special education teacher.
