About Celia

Hello! I just recently moved to Milwaukee and am starting my Master of Science for Speech-Language Pathology at Marquette University at the end of this month (August 2021). During the 2020-21 school year I lived in Seattle and served through AmeriCorps City Year as a teacher's assistant in a 4th/5th grade classroom. I love working with kids and I am hoping to work as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting one day. I am from Chicago and in my neighborhood nearly everyone knows each other. I have 4 brothers, so through them and my neighborhood I've made many connections and babysat over 2 dozen families over the course of the last 10 years. My experience ranges from newborns to preteens. I have experience caregiving for individuals with Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome. My experiences range from watching kids during parents' date night to nannying full time over summers. Right now, I am mostly available in the evenings!
