I like tutoring because I love explaining seemingly complex subjects (like Algebra) step-by-step to empower learners to easily learn. I'm looking for a job to help students who are committed to learning math or science. I would prefer to meet near the UW-Stevens Point campus or online. I started tutoring when I was in high school by volunteering to help family and classmates. Now, I am a paid tutor at UW-Stevens Point, and have been tutoring algebra and natural resource classes since January 2023. I am very adaptable to working with different learning styles and abilities. My skills include breaking down complex problems, sharing tips to remember rules, and providing learners with notes and resources to take home with them.

Celia is a fantastic tutor! She is so well organized and tech savvy. She tutored my son in Alegebra 2, I was not sure how zoom would work out, but it was great. She was always on time, never canceled, and always let us know how the tutoring session went .She also always had a plan for the next session and what my son should work on.
