Making a positive impact in someone's life is what drives me as a caregiver. My passion for supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors comes from years of hands-on experience. I'm currently in my third year of nursing school and have completed over 600 hours of direct patient care through clinicals. I also spent five years working in a retirement center as culinary staff, supporting individuals with varying needs and developing a strong appreciation for personalized, compassionate service. I'm often described as calm, compassionate, and approachable. I prioritize getting to know each person's preferences, routines, and history to build trust. I'm experienced in de-escalating stressful situations and supporting individuals with confusion or agitation using patience and reassurance. I value clear communication and can provide updates to families as preferred. I'm CPR certified and always prioritize safety, comfort, and dignity in my care.
