Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read through my profile. I am excited by the prospect of being able to work with you and your family. I have always had an interest in childcare. I see each child for the wonderful person that they are. I believe that children have more to teach us than we have to teach them. Through the eyes of a child, the world is as it should be. To quote Maria Montessori, "Children are human beings to whom respect is due, superior to us by reason of their innocence and of the greater possibilities of their future.". Childhood is such a beautiful and important time. As a caregiver, I encourage art, music, culture, imagination, emotional intelligence, and kindness, to name a few. I have a foundation in early childhood development. I am organized, punctual, and an effective communicator, and I am always open to learning new techniques or family preferences. I keep up with and follow all CDC COVID guidelines. I have no issue sharing proof of vaccination.

Celeste was the most caring, attentive, and dedicated caregiver that we could have wanted for our daughter from 10mo to 2 years old. Our daughter had unusual needs (wore contacts, needed patching) and Celeste learned how to care for her to accommodate these needs, which was a huge relief to us. She taught our daughter to sleep independently for naps, helped her with various milestones (eating with utensils, learning to walk, etc.) and was always taking her on fun outings to the park, library or zoo, or just to enjoy flowers in the neighborhood. Our daughter thrived in Celeste's care, despite being a baby otherwise very clingy to mom. Celeste was clear in communicating with us, always asked clarifying questions about expectations, and generally made it so easy to work with her. She has a warm, kind, and calming energy that was good for our whole family. We are so grateful to have worked with her, and would recommend her highly to anyone.
