C was a nanny for my two children for nearly a decade and was and still is like family to us all. My kids could not have been in more loving and safe hands. C handles that delicate balance of kind and loving care while still establishing those good boundaries and structure that allows kids to thrive. It's hard to get that balance right, and she unquestionably does. And she did this with both my toddler/elementary school child and my teenager at the same time. Completely responsible and reliable, kind, fun, a great communicator with children as well as parents, did creative things with the kids - just the whole package. You could not hire a more capable caregiver and teacher for your family.
