About Cecilia

I am a recent graduate of Brown University who just finished a Fulbright teaching fellowship in Berlin. Beyond spending the last year teaching children from ages 10-18, I also currently work as a writing tutor and have babysat young kids in the past. I love working with children because they see the world in new ways. I have had meaningful experiences building lessons with middle schoolers, organizing debates with teenagers, and staging plays with kindergartners. I'm looking for a job that can fill in the gaps for a family. I had two working parents, so I know how crucial childcare can be in patching together a cohesive schedule. In my spare time, I like to play tennis, practice my German, play guitar, cook, write, and explore new neighborhoods with friends. My skills include creating new things (I like working on artistic projects with children), instruction (I could teach your child some German, help them learn to read, or write a novel with them), and communication.
