About Cecelia

I've spent most of my life caring for others. I have 6 siblings, and my family has fostered for the past 8 years and adopted one of my siblings through foster care. Because of that, I'm very comfortable with kids of all ages and different needs. I currently substitute teach at my local elementary school and often work with special needs students, including children who need more hands-on support or total care. I also work casually in assisted living/memory care, which has taught me even more patience and compassion, and how to communicate beyond words. I did about a year and a half of college for early childhood education and am now considering nursing. I genuinely love being around kids and creating a safe, fun, and calm environment for them. I'm happy helping with meals, light housekeeping, homework, crafts, outdoor play, or whatever your family needs.
