About Cavias

Nurturing children and watching them blossom is my greatest joy. I have retired from professionally working, full-time, with children of all ages, but I still substitute teach. For 10+ years, I've dedicated myself to providing engaging and supportive care for children of all ages. I have a college degree, and a solid foundation for understanding child development through years of working with children. I am patient, creative, and friendly, which helps me connect easily. I enjoy teaching, playing board and educational games/puzzles while caring for up to two to three children at a time. I'm also comfortable using technology. I enforce household rules and schedules. I keep parents informed through written daily reports, verbal communication, or whatever the preferred method. My goal is always to be more than just a caregiver; I am a positive influence in your child's life.
