About Catrina

I am a native New Yorker and a recent graduate of Columbia where I studdied creative writing and I plan to become a teacher after I have finished my novel. I have worked at Camp Sloane YMCA for 9 years, where I have have risen up through the ranks to the Residential Life Director. Which entailed running the entire sleep away programing (8-17year olds) amd dealing with all the larger kid challenges and issues (including kids with different abilities or higher needs). I have done that job for the past 3 summers and greatly miss the interactions and connections with kids while I was at school studying. I feel confident working with all ages and kids of any background. I have nannied and babysat on and off since I was 13. I have also been lifeguard, CPR, AED, and first aid certified since I was 16 and have taught red cross classes for the past 6 years. I love going to museums, doing crafts, reading, making up stories, music, and exploring the city. I
