About Catina

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my tutoring practice. I believe that every learner possesses unique strengths, and my goal is to foster a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to real-world interests, I help students build the critical thinking skills necessary for long-term success. I assess individual learning styles through active observation, adapting my approach to include visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions as needed. I prioritize clear communication with both students and parents to ensure a supportive, collaborative environment. Whether we are tackling Math, Science, or Test Preparation, I find the greatest reward in watching a student's confidence grow as they master new skills. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals and seeing you thrive in your studies.
