Although I interviewed Catina and scheduled several shifts for her based on how great she was on the phone and her lengthy experience, we ended up canceling all the shifts due to my MIL being sent to the ER by her PCP doctor. I am leaving a review because you learn a lot about a person when you deliver bad news to them. When I let her know that I had to cancel multiple shifts we had just booked, she didn't show the slightest hint of frustration...to the contrary, she was completely focused on my MIL and hoping she is going to be okay. She hasn't even met her yet, but I could feel the concern and good thoughts she offered were genuine. I am hopeful my MIL will be okay and be able to go back to her apartment, at which point I won't hesitate to reach out to Catina because she will need companion care. I can't speak for her work because we didn't get a chance to have any shifts; however, I can definitely speak to her character from a couple interactions. She checks that box for me and that is a vital part of being a caregiver.
