About Catie

I'm a former nanny and K-5 classroom teacher (kindergarten focus) with a BA in Elementary Education, specializing in foundational literacy and the Science of Reading. I've taught kids how to read, build confidence with early math, and develop good learning habits. I tailor every session to the child's pace and personality rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Available for in-person tutoring in the Bitterroot Valley/Missoula area or virtual sessions. Happy to share references from my teaching and childcare background. More about me: I like tutoring because I love seeing my students grow in confidence and ability. And I learn so much in return from my students! In my spare time, I like to hike, play with my yellow Labrador puppy Ducky, and dance Argentine Tango! One thing you should know about me is I care deeply about helping children flourish. Finding the best way to communicate with each child so that they can blossom!
