My name is Cathy, and I have 28 years of experience as a caregiver, homemaker, and housekeeper. For the past 10 years, I have worked with private clients in home care. I also have experience working in hospitals, nursing homes, and hotels. I am dependable, compassionate, and hardworking. Working as a caregiver has taught me the importance of patience and providing quality care to others. My experience includes activities of daily living, tube feeding, feeding assist, diaper changes, bathing assistance, running errands, doctor appointments, doing laundry, medication reminders, housekeeping, and, last but not least, companionship. I have learned that companionship has become just as important as any other duty in nursing. Sometimes clients simply need someone to talk to, sit quietly with them, or enjoy looking at the birds together. Patience has taught me how to be a better caregiver and a better human being.
