About Cathy

Unfortunately, I would be wary of hiring this individual. She reached out to me with enthusiasm to help, twice within a couple of months, under different names, Ingrid and Cathy. Because she seemed eager to help and had responded to both of my ads, one in January and one in March and was responsive to my messages, we set up a time to do a phone interview on March 11th, 2025, before 10:00 AM. She provided me with her phone number and confirmed this time would be best on this date. When I called At 9:30 AM, it went into voicemail, and I left a message, requesting a call back. I did not receive a response from this caregiver. I messaged her on care.com on the same day, and did not receive a response throughout the day at night. It was only on March 12th, that she responded to the message and she stated that she has too many hours to help. So, between March 10th, when she was still showing eagerness and want to help, setting up a time to complete a phone interview on the 11th, and March 12th, she suddenly became unavailable. I understand situations arise, but it is off-putting to those that are searching for care, to not have individuals upfront, as finding the right caregiver can be timely. Before setting up the interview, I failed to notice the other review that was left only a few months ago. Though hesitant to continue with a phone interview after reading the review, I believe in second chances, but I have a feeling this would have not been a dependable situation.
