I am a nurse with experience caring for children with special needs. I have cared for them in their homes and I have gone to school with many of them. In the schools, I have learned a lot from the teachers and therapists. I have been in special education classrooms for approximately 7 years. I believe that no matter what diagnosis a child has each kid is an individual. I want to learn from the family the best way to support the child and for the child to have a pleasant experience while under my care. I am empathetic and playful. I try to put myself in the child's shoes. I love crafting and animals. I volunteer at the local cat rescue and I am comfortable with dog.
