I became a senior caregiver for 12 years. I started when my parent was diagnosed with dementia. I left my job at the time and became her full time caregiver for many years. After her passing I felt that I wanted to do this type of work. I have always had a respect for seniors and I feel that they all deserve the best possible care. I have experience in the following, showering/shower assisting, grooming and dressing, medication reminders, toileting, meal prep and clean up, light housekeeping, laundry, appointments., shopping, and errands.. I believe the following is the most important for giving clients the best quality of life when possible. Of course, visiting, companionship , outings, Listening to what thier likes and dislikes are.
