About Cathryn

Hi, I'm Cc! I am a 21-year-old native New Yorker born and raised in Park slope, I currently live in Greenwood but my work and college areManhattan based. I am studying writing at The New School and I have worked at Kidding Around Toys for the past 3 years. From 14-18 I worked at Curious Jane Camp, with the 3-7 age group. I have babysat throughout the years, I most enjoyed the chance it gave me to commit my attention in a personal dynamic. I find childcare deeply rewarding, with any child I strive to promote engagement, creativity and self esteem, and make them feel supported. I loved AP art in high school, I also bake and knit in my free time and love to share these interests with kids. Interacting with children at the toy store, as well as the time I've gotten to spend with my coworker's infants, has reminded me how much I miss childcare and wish to return to it. During the academic year (August-May) I am not available Mon/Wed but have no preferences otherwise about scheduling.
