I have over 20+ years of elderly home care experience. I have experience with dementia & Alzheimer's having worked in a Geriatric Psych unit at a local hospital for a number of years. I find I have a unique ability to bring out their stories from the past. I also have the ability to redirect them if I see agitation possibly approaching all with compassion & patience. I enjoy listening to their stories along with crafting or gardening or just watching a movie and putting together a puzzle. Cathleen helped us with my mother. It started out as a few hours a day and at the end she was working all day! She took great care of my mother and mom enjoyed having her there and missed her when she had to leave at the end of the day. She helped with meals, laundry, and some housekeeping as well!
