About Cathleen

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, kind, and caring. I like working with kids because watching young kids make realizations about the world is one of the most impactful things I have experienced. Working with kids reminds me of all the things I loved as a kid, and I want to bring back those loves and passions I had. I started working with kids when I was a sophomore in high school volunteering weekly with migrant children and babysitting the kids of family friends. In my spare time, I like to cook a lot with my family, play with my dog, and read books. I also LOVE to travel and I am always looking for a new place to explore! I also spend a lot of time working and volunteering with migrant youth and Special Olympics athletes. My skills include communication with the parents and children. I also have strong time management skills and incorporate many activities into the babysitting. And most importantly, I have a lot of patience when connecting with children.
