Working with seniors has been a large part of my nursing career. I worked as a visiting nurse and I enjoyed the home care visits as I was able to form a relationship with the client and the family, and provide 1:1 teaching and attention. Prior to working as a Registered Nurse, I was a Certified Nursing assistant, and later in my career, I taught students the CNA certification course. I feel as though I am qualified to provide companionship and private duty care and help the client maintain their dignity and respect.
