About Catherine

Catherine provided 24 hour care for my father who had severe Parkinson’s disease. Dad was unable to do anything requiring physical movement. He could not walk, feed himself, clean himself, or go to the bathroom by himself. Catherine kept the house clean, and in good order, and by far more importantly, took personal care of Dad. She provided outstanding care in preparing meals, personally feeding him, cleaning him, physically lifting him out of and putting him back to bed. Catherine did so with utmost patience, kindness and grace. Perhaps the most prominent aspect of the care that Catherine provided was her genuine interest in Dad’s person. She listened to him, talked with him, and had meaningful interaction with him. Catherine genuinely cared for Dad and his personal wellbeing. My siblings and I felt tremendous peace and comfort knowing that Dad was in Catherine’s care. She truly was, I believe, a God send! Catherine was a blessing for Dad, and our family.
