About Catherine

Hi, I'm Cat! I hold a Master's degree in Special Education and a Bachelor's in Art Education from the University of Vermont. I have worked in various teaching and administrative roles in the realm of both art education and special education in Vermont and New York public and independent schools. In my tutoring, I utilize a multi-sensory, evidence-based approach incorporating elements of art and play to help struggling learners find success and confidence in their math, reading, and executive functioning skills. I believe that all individuals are capable of living fulfilling lives and contributing valuable insight and abilities to their communities and to the world, and put great effort into holding a space for children that is warm, welcoming, and inclusive.
