Hi I'm Catherine! I work as a nanny (professional bestie as I like to call it haha!) for families at a school in the Palisades going on 4 years. This past school year I cared for a 1 & 2 yr old (& at times their 3-5yr old siblings too!). The moms work at the school and are lucky enough to be able to have their kids on campus. I've always had a passion for kids ever since I was young. As a teenager I loved babysitting & in college I was a nanny between classes just for fun. I'm caring, patient, & kind. I love to be creative, get outside, & genuinely enjoy making special connections with the kids & esp love to watch them grow. I would love to make more minnie best friends & spend time with your little ones! My schedule is Aug 25 - June (8 - 3:30 school day) but I'm off during summer. I don’t have words to properly express how much we have loved having Catherine as an integral part of our family for the past three years. I am a teacher, and Catherine has come along side me as a caregiver for both of my young children (now ages 4 and 1) and has been the most wonderful, compassionate, engaging, accommodating, loving, brilliant, and attentive person in my children’s lives while I am at work. She is punctual, thorough, thoughtful, responsible, and everything in between. She has been a soft place for them to land and my children light up when they see her/know they will get to spend time together. When I was initially looking for someone to help me out, I honestly interviewed dozens of people. Let me save you the time….Catherine was far and away the most wonderful, overqualified candidate, and was such a natural choice. She understands children of all ages and possesses a natural rapport with them that you simply can’t teach. She has a gift! There isn’t enough space here to properly describe the challenges we have faced over the last couple of years, and Catherine has met each of them with initiative, happiness, positivity, warmth, and an abundance of grace and flexibility. I am happy to delve further into all of this should you need a reference. I have gained such an amazing friend and family member through her and I know she will be a part of our lives forever.
