I like working with kids because of the impact my nannies and babysitters had on me, both positively and negatively. For those I wasn't a fan of, I was able to learn from, and those I wasn't really close with, I looked up to. Now being on the other side, it is such a joy to be with kids and their smiles and giggles alongside their endless curiosity to lean me. It is both worthwhile and rewarding, you are able to make even a small impact on kids, while you are constantly growing one's skills and knowledge.
