I've provided care for children of all ages for over 25 years. My experience includes working as a Nanny, a Paraprofessional in an Elementary School, Church Nursery volunteer, and most importantly as a Mom! I am responsible, reliable, and cheerful with excellent childcare, communication and interpersonal skills. Caring for children is a gift that I am truly thankful for. I am blessed to have had the opportunity to work with amazing families through the years and am happy to provide references!

Cathy is quite literally an angel who entered our lives when we needed it most. Our baby was born with a heart defect and required open heart surgery in his first week of life. He had a feeding tube for his first 7 months. Cathy was the only person we trusted to care for him when Mommy (skeptically) returned to work. She is compassionate, patient, and a fantastic communicator. A true professional who became to feel like family, Cathy is worth her weight in gold. 

Cathy is an absolute gem! We recently moved to Wilmington with no family and support. My daughter was born two months prematurely and I was very hesitant to leave her with anyone, let alone a sitter but Cathy made me feel super comfortable and confident in the care for my daughter! She is so detailed, nurturing and the sweetest to our girl! We love Cathy and she feels just like family! 

We needed a sitter for our stay in Wrightsville Beach for our 2 small kids. I had never used care.com before and was a little nervous.  So happy we found Kathy !! She is amazing and made us feel so comfortable leaving our kids with her. We definitely will be using her again on our next visit or hopefully our move there!!  She was wonderful! 

Cathy is wonderful! We felt extremely comfortable leaving our daughter (first child!) with her from the moment we met her. She loves spending time with our daugther and is always engaging her in play. She understands the importance of schedules and will stick to what you tell her. And the list goes on! She is great!

This was our first time leaving our now 6 month old with someone who wasn’t family. Catherine made us feel quite comfortable and even sent us updates throughout the night while we were out. Highly recommend! 

We couldn't ask for more in a nanny. Catherine is always on time, reliable and she is a complete natural with babies! She watches our baby girl once a week. She started when our daughter was 4 months old. We don't have family in town and Catherine is as close as it gets. We feel 100% comfortable when she is with our daughter & we never thought we'd feel like that with anyone but family. Our daughter has a blast with Catherine and it shows in all of the pics I get of her cheesing while I'm at work! I can't recommend her enough. You can't go wrong!

Cathy has worked for me over 2 years taking care of 2 precious girls and she has never cancelled or been late.  Very dependable and loving.  My girls love each day they have with her.  Wonderful person!!

Cathy is truly the best! She has been a part of our family since July and we couldn't have asked for a better nanny. My 3 year old loves her and wishes "Ms. Cathy" could be with us 7 days a week (she is with us 3 days a week). She is dependable, caring and honest. Even in the midst of a full-on tantrum, Cathy is on point. She can talk our child through any situation. We are truly blessed to have her! 

Cathy is amazing with our two daughters ages 2 and 5. I'd recommend her to any family and they would be extremely lucky to have her! She is always on time, always dependable and always makes herself available to accommodate schedules. 

Catherine feels like having your own mother, aunt or close family member step in and help. She is very responsible and organized yet so kind and warm with children. She bring such positive energy and great sense of humor that my daughter loves! We trust her so much that we let our 18 months old daughter stay with her over night and it went exceptionally well. The best baby sitter we have ever had!!! 


Cathy was very loving, attentive and fun to my son. I felt it was if a "mom" stepped into my place vs a babysitter. She was able to put him as the main focus, while also keeping my house neat and orderly. I trusted her to also take him on outings to the park, pool and elsewhere. I miss Cathy!

I could not be more pleased with Cathy.  She has become part of our family and my children love her like she is!  I could not give her a high enough rating to show her true value.  

Cathy worked for our organization. She is a hard worker, dependable, caring, and wonderful person.

She does more than just play with the kids and keep them safe. She has a gift. She truly loves to love and nurture the children, and she takes a genuine interest in their growth and development. She is creative and fun. She enjoys preparing healthy food and keeps the house neat and tidy as she plays with the children. She is also absolutely reliable, dependable, responsible. My children love her. I am at peace when I leave my children with her. I give Cathy my highest recommendation.
