Hi, my name is Cate. I am a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver who values building trust and creating a safe, supportive environment for the people I care for. I have experience in long-term caregiving, companionship, special needs care, household support, and emotional support. Families often describe me as calm, patient, trustworthy, nurturing, and reliable. I believe caregiving is more than helping with daily tasks it's about emotional presence, dignity, consistency, and helping families feel peace knowing their loved one is safe and cared for. As a mother of three boys and through my work with Cate's Hope for the Disabled, I've learned the importance of patience, communication, emotional intelligence, and treating people with kindness and respect.

Cate takes care of our 28 year old highly autistic son as if she is his mother. Cate is attentive, nurturing and compassionate. Our son is a 28-year-old individual who, due to his unique needs, requires assistance similar to that of a young child. He relies on caregivers for essential daily activities, including: - **Diapering**: He needs help with hygiene and changing, as he is unable to manage this independently. - **Feeding**: Our son requires assistance with meals, as he is not able to feed himself and needs someone to help him with this important aspect of daily care. - **Dressing**: He also needs support with getting dressed an can be quite difficult at times, but that does not deter Cate. We feel fortunate to have her in our lives. Not only is she a wonderful caregiver we can see that she is a great mother as well. We have met her family and can tell you the family is a reflection of her.
