Taking care of\helping people is not work to me, it's what I was meant to do, what I'm good at. I prefer to work with seniors because nothing beats the stories & wisdom they can give us. I realize that what I like to do & what I am qualified to do are not always the same. In 2000 I joined the Army National Guard. In 2001 I obtained my CNA in Illinois & have worked exclusively in healthcare ever since. I have experience working with the geriatric population in long-term care facilities, short-term rehabilitation facilities, adult daycare facilities, psychiatric facilities & home health care. I truly enjoy doing home care & feel that is where my best "work" is done. I can cook, clean & do just about anything asked of me. Catherine worked one week. She was a NCNS on her next scheduled workday on 8/24/25. I called her several times to ensure she was ok. She failed to return my calls. To note, she was aware this was a permanent position. I asked her several times during the work week if she had any concerns, she said no.
