I have been a bird lover my whole life! When I was a child I even dressed up as an African Grey Parrot for Halloween - my neighbors didn't understand! I have experience with senior birds, strong-willed birds, traumatized rescues, and medically complicated birds. I am currently a mom to two adopted parakeets and one rescue pigeon - Charlie, Dewey, and Yaya! I understand that each feathered friend has a unique personality that needs to be respected, and that trust is often build over an extended period of time (though treats can certainly help!). Birds aren't meant to be locked in a cage all day, so ensuring there's proper enrichment is a must! Whenever I'm away from my babies, I'm miss them terribly and worry about them, so I understand the need to ensure they're in a safe environment, with someone who I can fully trust. I would be honored to help care for your sweetheart, whether they're a screamer, shy, a pop star, a woodworker, a snuggler, or a combination of all of the above!
