Hello! Happy to be here. To begin, I'd describe my personality as passionate , creative, and empathetic with a love for teaching. I chose tutoring because it allows for a one-on-one learning experience where I can offer a unique and specific plan that ensures success. I believe anyone can learn when given the right tools and resources. I am passionate about teaching English as well as seeing my students succeed. Education, for me, "isn't filling a bucket, but more like lighting a fire!" I believe in lifelong learners where I can leans a helping hand. :) I started tutoring when as soon as I began teaching, 11 years ago. I am now a full time tutor beginning this year. One thing you should know about me is that I am not only a teacher at heart, but a mother as well, so I can appreciate the time and effort parents spend finding quality help for their child. My skills include tutoring for English/ Language Arts, grades 6th-12th, AP English, as well as preparing for the ACT & SAT.
