I am honored to be considered for caring for your child! I am a passionate health advocate and social worker. I graduated with my MSW from WashU in 2021, with a Child Behavioral Health and Health policy emphasis. I specialize in working with children with neurodivergence, and utilize a wholistic, strengths-based care approach. I am passionate about providing a safe, caring and nurturing environment for each child I work with. I think it is vital to cherish the fun and curiosity of every kid, and nourish exploration of creativity, confidence and self-efficacy. Previous work with children includes the Crisis Nursery in St. Louis for ages 0-12 and continued nannying and baby-sitting for children ages 0-10. I helped run a Summer Treatment Program for Children with ADHD & related disorders in Highland Park, IL, as well as an After School Program for children in grades 1-5. Cate was an awesome caregiver to my 8 month old son. I hired her for 5 hrs/day, over a weekend. Cate was inquisitive, attentive, fun, warm, and engaging. They laughed, and she danced and sang to him throughout their time together. As a first time mom, I had a lot of requests and Cate was so graceful with it all. We also just moved, and my son was adjusting emotionally. Cate was really sensitive to this, and ensured she was giving my son a lot of extra love and attention. Cate is also a pro at nap time! She ensured the sleep process went smoothly so that my son could rest peacefully. I plan to recommend her to my community, and will certainly hire her again.
