About Catherine

Hi! My name is Catherine and I have been working with children since I was 15 years old. Currently, I am working at The Post and Courier and recently decided to go back to school in the fall for graphic design. Due to my work and school schedule being virtual, I have a very flexible schedule. On a professional level, I have previously taught at a local preschool, nannied long-term, and have babysat on a local and destination/ traveling basis. I was born and raised in Charleston, and as a local know all of the fun spots to hang out (: While my favorite age would probably be 2 years old, I think all ages have their own unique and endearing qualities, and it is amazing to watch children grow and interact with the world around them. I can change diapers, help with homework, am CPR certified, have taken many childhood education courses and am COVID vaccinated. All paperwork, documentation and references are available upon request!
