About Catherine

I'd describe my personality as joyful, peaceful and creative! I like tutoring because I love helping kids connect the dots and empowering them to learn and engage with the world around them! I'm looking for a job that encourages a joy for learning and creativity! I started tutoring when I was in college and have loved working with students for the last 10 years. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my lifegroup, illustrate, paint, read fantastic books and garden. One thing you should know about me is I love learning and I love helping kids fall in love with it too. Sometimes it just takes one teacher or one subject you really enjoy to spark a love for learning and creativity! My skills include anything in the humanities and classical education. I love pulling in all subjects and learning through stories and hands on exploration of the world around them.
