About Catherine

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, empathetic, and nurturing. I like working with kids because my entire family is mostly made up of children. I am the oldest in my generation of cousins in my family and have been taking care of my cousins since I was 10. My mom is also an elementary school teacher so whenever her school had activities at the end of the day I would always go help and play with all the kids. I'm looking for a job that is a little bit flexible since I am a full time student at the College of Charleston. I have worked with kids my entire life, however I didn't start babysitting non family members until I was around 14. In my spare time, I like to spend my time in the gym and with my roommates. One thing you should know about me is I personally don't like to yell at children. I can be stern and strict, but I prefer to redirect them instead of yelling. My skills include compassion, high energy, and good time management skills.
